Welcome from the Dean

As Dean of the Caudill College of Humanities, I wish to personally welcome you to the academic unit that has within it the departments of Art; Communication & Theatre; English, Foreign Languages & Philosophy; Geography, Government & History; Military Science; Music; and, Sociology, Social Work & Criminology. In addition, the Caudill College has developed interdisciplinary programs in Women’s Studies; Appalachian Studies; Cultural Studies; and, International Studies. There is also an interdisciplinary Arts & Humanities Council that promotes musical concerts and recitals, art exhibits, theatrical productions, reading groups, film studies, lecture series, workshops, seminars and conferences.
